I’m still based in Australia, but occasionally will travel abroad for field work. These days I am mostly doing contract work (electro/mechanical engineering and software) for smaller companies working in varying industries, currently medical (ocular surgeries) and aerospace/space (telemetry and engineering vision systems). Keeping my tools sharp in my technical areas.

My personal technical projects are kept to a minimum currently as I’m sufficiently challenged in my current contracting gigs. Therefore I’m mostly working on creative projects with timber still kinda pricey, I am doing more art projects with watercolours and currently experimenting with pastels.

Presently after recently working at a SaaS start-up with a webapp, I’ve been learning and improving my front-end development skills (React) and have been playing around more in the devops space (automating myself out of my role is something I enjoy).
